| Virgilio, Stella C., VIRGILIO, STELLA CLARA (NEE SEROWICK) 96 - passed away Thursday July 15, 2010 at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Lawrence Virgilio and Anita Virgilio in Marmora. She was born in Binghamton, NY, lived most of her life in Johnson City, NY, formerly of Vestal, NY, and was a resident of Palermo for the last six years. She was predeceased by her husband of 74 years, Alfonso Virgilio, and her daughter Valarie Virgilio, and son-in-law, Joe Deraco. Stella is survived by her daughter Geraldine Deraco of Gulfport, Florida, Dr. Lawrence and Anita Virgilio of Marmora, and daughter Linda O'Connor and son-in-law Craig O'Connor of Long Island, NY. Stella will be missed by her nine grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Also survived by her sister Cassie Baker of Binghamton, NY, and her brother Raymond Serowick of Endicott, NY. Her mass of the Resurrection will be held in Stella's honor on Monday July 19, 2010 at twelve o'clock noon from Church of the Resurrection 200 West Tuckahoe Road , Marmora, NJ where friends may call from 11:00 until 11:45 a.m.. Burial will follow mass in Seaside Cemetery, Marmora, NJ.
