| Gale, John E., Gale, John E. 71 of Egg Harbor Township, NJ. John passed away peacefully after a long, well fought battle surrounded by his family on Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was formerly of Ocean City, NJ before moving to Egg Harbor Township eight years ago. Mr. Gale was a Veteran of the Korean War serving with the U.S. Army 82nd Airborne Division before his honorable discharge. He was the owner and operator of Profits Development Corporation in Marlton, NJ and was a Lifeguard in Ocean City, NJ. Beloved husband of the late Marie T. Gale, beloved brother of the late Allen and James Gale. Surviving are four children, Marie Gale, Betsy Heraux and her husband Herve, Nancy Mason and her husband John, John Gale and his wife Nancy, six grandchildren, Michael, Miriam, Lauren, Amanda, Jack, Christian, and he was the beloved uncle of many adoring nieces and nephews. A Catholic Prayer service will be offered Sunday afternoon at three o’clock from The Godfrey Funeral Home of Palermo, 644 South Shore Road, Palermo, NJ where friends may call from one o’clock until the time of service. A Memorial Mass will be offered Monday morning at half past ten o’clock from the Church of the Resurrection, 200 West Tuckahoe Road, Marmora, NJ. Burial will be private.
